  I attempted to apply here, The owner herself called me. When I was informed I needed a social security card for my job interview I informed the owner that I have a birth certificate and a license. She than became quite nasty and argumentative. SHe even raised her voice to me and over spoke me as I was trying to rationally explain I have alternative forms and its illegal for her to demand the card it's self. It is ILLEGAL to demand an employees social security card and refuse other forms of identification. I informed her of this and she told me she would not interview me or give me an opportunity to work for them. As far as their services go I cannot say a word, However the owner of this company needs to update herself on the employment laws. A social security card says right on it not to be used for identification purposes Employers may request it for tax information however as long as you provide the social number to them with proof such as your birth certificate and license they are NOT permitted to request such documentation. I have been attempting to file a complaint. What if I was here on a work visa or had a passport? I was highly offended by the way she treated me and flew off the handle. I have a great paying job but from here on out I am going on every social site I am able to and excercising my freedom of speech about this incident. I also am in the process of filing a complaint with EEOC and the ACLU
